Overview
Fishoil is a fish meal and fish oil producer based in Paldiski, Estonia, processing up to 25,000 tonnes of raw material per year. The factory serves clients across Europe and beyond.
We built a warehouse management system that gives Fishoil a clear view of their entire inventory, connects products with laboratory analysis results and keeps a full history of every batch.
The Challenge
In fish meal and oil production, it's critical to know what's in the warehouse, when it was produced and what the lab results say for each batch. Without a system, this means spreadsheets, paper records and relying on memory.
Fishoil needed a solution that could:
- Show the full warehouse status in real time
- Link each product to its laboratory analysis results
- Maintain a historical overview - what moved where and when
- Allow fast product-to-location assignment using barcode scanners
- Streamline product dispatch when transport arrives
- Be simple and quick to use in a factory environment
Our Approach
We built a web-based warehouse system tailored to fish meal and oil production:
